So You Got A 2:2, What Next?
With a 2:2, you can still achieve your career goals and you can still pursue your ideal job in any industry of your choice. Getting a 2:2 is not a disaster for your career prospects.
Employers are now more flexible with requirements and grad schemes are available for those with 2:2s. A lot of firms now have internal/online assessments such as aptitude tests which can further strengthen your job application. There is a chance of securing a good position even with a 2:2.
If a job advert states 2:1 as a minimum requirement, you can still apply but also try to reach out to the employer. That way you can also note if the 2:1 requirement is an essential criteria or a desirable or ‘nice to have’ criteria.
Tips on what to do next
Look for graduate jobs that accept 2:2s.
Gain work experience.
Improve your CV and make it stand out.
If you have genuine mitigating circumstances, let recruiters know.

Send speculative job applications to potential employers.
When you completing job applications, remember to emphasise your accomplishments outside your degree such as your personal characteristics, skills and work experience.
Network and use your contacts perhaps on LinkedIn.
